Welcome to my little gallery, situated in a sneaky fashion, east of the Ginger trees, in Kerikeri, Northland New Zealand.

I have all sorts of artworks to view created by authentic NZ artists. If you are looking for some Kiwiana-type artwork (toi-toi and Pohutukawa trees) you WON'T find it here.

Hot Ginger is a space and place to find something a little different. In other words, you may find TREASURE! Predominantly figurative quirky work, this gallery appeals to kids and..... bigger kids alike. There are gifty thingies to purchase too, made by kiwi artists......such as jewellery (tikis and Madonnas), glass and fabric brooches, Dr Seuss wallets, art-bags, art CLOTHES, art-bags, pottery and ......well you get the picture.

So come and meet Mrs Hot Ginge (aka Monika Welch) and see amazing works that will make you smile. Each painting tells a story...............or not! But nevertheless....it all works!
